Orewa Dojo - Browns Bay  

Come and join our spirited, adventurous dojo, founded by father and son team Sensei John and Sensei Mark Grieve, in 2003. What will you find? A great, friendly dojo with expert tuition and a love for outdoor training.

Sensei John began his karate journey doing Goju Kai style in South Africa. He moved with his family to California where he and his sons began Shotokan karate. Sensei Mark spent a year and a half of specialised training at the JKA-SKC Honbu dojo in Melbourne. ded Go

Waimauku Dojo - Auckland

The Waimauku dojo is led by Sensei Chris Papas who has been a passionate karateka since the age of 10.

Sensei Chris trained under Sensei John Grieve before opening his own dojo for children and adults, with the aim of inspiring others.

He believes that karate is a strong and beautiful art and it teaches students respect, discipline and awareness.
